Dutch Catholic church offers religious ringtones

Mobile phone users are being offered religious ringtones by the Dutch Roman Catholic church.
The church is offering 15 different tunes based on psalms and hymns, including Ave Maria and Salve Regina.
Church leaders say the ringtones are the first of their kind and will offer users inspiration and contemplation each time their phone rings.
Priest Peter Deeneman told Algemeen Dagblad: "I think the ringtones will be a feast of remembering to a lot of users but it will make other people curious about the background of the songs."
The ringtones can be downloaded from the Dutch website www.catholictunes.nl.
